She said? Surely the royalties for that song must go to Longpigs, a gem of a band from the britpop years:

Quite possibly – or maybe they’re both sharing them with The Beatles for ‘She Said She Said’ as well? I only just found out that Richard Hawley of Pulp (and current successful solo career) fame was in Longpigs…I had no idea!

Look out for a Longpigs haiku next week – their song She Said starts off a bit like ‘Walk On The Wild Side’, doesn’t it??

Picked up on the Richard Hawley connection too- his solo career is news to me, although I always did appreciate his consistently well crafted riffing with Longpigs, like at 1.10 of Far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZW04NmOf7g&feature=related

I remember giving it some at the front of their gigs at Bedford Esquires and Tower Records London. Look forward to your Longpigs haiku.
